AC Print director Andy Cousins with the CCM780 Premier guillotine

A CCM780 Premier guillotine from Terry Cooper Services is helping AC Print to increase production flexibility and offer faster turnarounds.

The South Devon-based printer, which produces digital print on a Canon colour digital press and litho print on a five-colour Komori SRA2, required an updated for its aging guillotine.

‘The CCM780 Premier stood out for a number of reasons,’ explained director Andy Cousins. ‘Because of its programmability we are much more flexible. We can interrupt long run litho jobs with short run digital work.

‘The guillotine used to be a bottleneck when it came to digital work but now we can better manage workflow and be more productive,’ he added.
