The Jeti Mira can produce lenses using clear ink to create depth

The new Jeti Mira LED from Agfa Graphics includes the ability to produce print with motion and depth effects by printing lenticular lenses.

3D lens printing technology (using a combination of printed lenses composed of UV-curable varnish and image manipulations) allows the upgraded Jeti Mira to add depth to print.

‘With this new potential to generate stunning 3D effects, the Jeti Mira is truly a versatile printing revelation,’ stated Reinhilde Alaert, marketing product manager, Sign & Display High-End, Agfa Graphics.

Other developments include enhancements to the workflow software and the adoption of LED UV lamps.

‘UV LED lamps offer a number of economical, ecological and business-generating benefits,’ explained Mr Alaert.

Agfa’s wide-format workflow software Asanti, which drives the Jeti Mira LED, can now be integrated with PrintSphere – the company’s cloud-based service for production automation, file sharing and data storage, which was launched at drupa.
