Callas Software has appointed Elahe Saberinia as channel manager. The move reinforces its focus on supporting resellers, integrators, and consultants who bring its PDF automation technologies to printers, publishers, and other professional users worldwide.

The Berlin-based company, known for its automated PDF quality control and archiving solutions, distributes its products through more than 75 OEM partners as well as a network of expert channel partners. In her new role, Ms Saberinia will concentrate on strengthening relationships with existing resellers and developing new partnerships.

“The technology that Callas develops for use by printers and publishers, is highly performant, and delivers great return on investment,” said David van Driessche, chief evangelist at Callas software. “This requires expert partners to advise people correctly, and to help them automate their workflows in the most efficient way. Over the years, Callas has built a channel with resellers, integrators, and consultants who deliver superior value to their customers. Supporting those people is incredibly important, and Elahe reinforces our team to make that happen.”

CEO of Callas Dietrich von Seggern added: “We are the technology leader for PDF technology for automation, by making highly flexible, performant, and stable products, both in the prepress and archival markets. Staying close to our resellers, and, through them, to our customers, is one of the strongest drivers of our product development. Over the last year, we’ve ramped up our efforts towards the channel; adding Elahe to the channel team is one more step in that effort.”

Ms Saberinia joins Callas with extensive experience in international B2B business development and a strong background in data-driven marketing and sales. Having worked in Iran, Spain and Germany, and with experience managing channel partners across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, she joins a multinational team representing six nationalities.

“Even though I lived in Munich, Germany, this opportunity to join callas software, was too good to pass on,” she said. “At a recent Callas PDFCamp event, I already had the opportunity to see the reactions of end-users and resellers while discussing and working with the callas products, and that was a real eye opener. I can’t wait to meet more partners and help them get our products in the hands of more printers and publishers.”
