Leeds-based exhibition and events company Equinox Group has become the first business to purchase Fujifilm’s new Acuity Triton printer, featuring the company’s AquaFuze water-based UV ink technology. The deal was completed at the Fespa 2025.

The acquisition marks a continuation of a nearly 30-year partnership between Equinox Group and Fujifilm, which has included collaboration on multiple international events. Most recently, Equinox was responsible for the construction of Fujifilm’s stand at this year’s Fespa exhibition.

The Acuity Triton printer is designed to deliver high-quality print output using a water-based UV ink system aimed at reducing environmental impact. According to Fujifilm, the AquaFuze technology reduces energy use and waste compared to traditional ink systems.

Equinox Group managing director Carl Criscione said the purchase aligns with the company’s focus on both performance and sustainability. “We’ve worked closely with Fujifilm for decades, and this investment supports our commitment to responsible innovation,” he said.

Chelsea Carter, marketing manager at Fujifilm Speciality Ink Systems, described the sale as a reflection of shared priorities between the two companies. “AquaFuze was developed for businesses that prioritise both performance and environmental responsibility, and Equinox is a strong example of that,” she said.
