Sedo Large Format Solutions has hired two new members, both set to improve the company’s sales team. Jessica Shorten-Hood has been appointed as the new business development manager for hardware with Marco Crow appointed as the sales executive for both hardware and consumables.

The new appointments reflect the increased range of hardware and consumables products that Sedo now sells, with great opportunities across a broader target market.

Following the new additions added to Sedo’s portfolio, including the likes of Vanguard, Epson and Roland, Andy McGuinness, director at Sedo commented on both the new appointments. He said, ‘Jessica and Marco’s arrival at this juncture is strategic, bringing a fresh wave of experience and enthusiasm to our sales team.’

Ms Shorten-Hood joined Sedo from Exertis UK, where she was a product manager for Brother, OKI, and Epson large-format printers. As business development manager for hardware, the company states that she is committed to expanding Sedo’s reach within the signage and display market.

Ms Shorten-Hood commented, ‘My role is to assist customers in new markets in finding the best solutions for their businesses, whether that involves adopting new technology, expanding their capacity, or upgrading their machines. I am also dedicated to helping customers bring print in-house where they would typically outsource.

‘Our sales team takes a tailored approach to finding the right solution that aligns with our customers’ business goals. I am looking forward to helping Sedo make a big impact in the market.’

Before joining Sedo, Mr Crow spent many years in recruitment sales. His new role will focus on the business’s print and consumables side. ‘My job is to manage and develop our existing customer base, who currently order print work and also inks and materials from us,’ said Mr Crow.

Mr McGuinness concluded, ‘Jessica and Marco have unique experiences and talents that are a great fit with our team, allowing us to focus on our key business objectives.

‘We are in a fast-moving and hugely competitive business, where people make a real difference. We are delighted with Jessica and Marco, who have seamlessly slotted into our team and are already having a positive impact.’
