Solopress is to be the new sponsor of the North Bank stand at local team Southend United’s Roots Hall ground, and the club’s official print partner.

The online printer has been in the Essex town for more than 20 years and is based less than a mile from the Shrimpers’ stadium. The company will become sponsors of the ‘Solopress.com North Bank’, installing advertising boards above the stand, as well as around the players’ tunnel, TV gantry and Solopress’s own corporate box. As might be expected, Solopress will design and print the advertising boards itself. As official print partners to the club, Solopress will also offer its services to the club’s other sponsors.

Solopress also sponsored Southend goalkeeper and England hopeful Harry Seaden in 2018, donating £5000 towards his development over the course of 10 months.

Managing director Simon Cooper is delighted that Solopress will be joining forces with Southend United Football Club once again:

‘We’re thrilled to be partnering with Southend United, and we look forward to being involved with the next chapter of the club’s history. There’s a significant band of Shrimpers fans among our workforce, and they’re particularly excited to see Solopress getting behind their team!

‘Supporting our local side represents a fantastic opportunity for Solopress to connect with our community and build relationships with other businesses involved with the club.’

Solopress’s branding will appear during the club’s pre-season friendlies and throughout the 2021/22 season.
