The Navigator Company has announced that it will increase paper prices in Europe. The increase, effective from 10 May will be between 6 and 9% depending on products, with full details to be provided ‘shortly.’

This decision was taken because of worldwide cost increases in pulp, chemicals and logistics, which have had a knock-on effect on the profitability of the industry in Europe and across the globe.

Navigator stressed that there had remained a robust demand for its products and brands during late 2020 and the first months of 2021. It added that it will continue to ‘monitor the market evolution of key business drivers and act, if required, to correct potential future imbalances between its products prices, raw materials and logistics costs.’

The company, which sells its products to 130 countries over five continents, added that it will continue working to reinforce its partnerships with customers.
