Paperworld Middle East will return to the Dubai World Trade Centre from 13-15 October 2026 for its 15th edition, bringing together manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers and buyers from the international paper and stationery industries.

The event comes as the global paper and stationery markets are forecast to reach $294.53 billion (£217.15 billion) and $218.12 billion (£161.37 billion) respectively by 2030, according to Fortune Business Insights.

Organisers said investment in sustainable materials and education, changing workplace environments and increasingly diversified global supply chains are influencing the development of the two sectors. Sustainable packaging, speciality papers and responsibly sourced materials are among the areas supporting the paper market, while education, hybrid working, creative learning and premium consumer products are contributing to growth in stationery.

“The paper and stationery industries are becoming more international, more specialised and increasingly interconnected. That makes face-to-face sourcing and relationship building more valuable than ever,” said Mark Palmer, show director, Paperworld Middle East. “Paperworld Middle East brings the global market together at exactly the point buyers are planning future purchasing strategies, giving them access to new suppliers, product innovation and commercial partnerships in one place.”

Products represented at the exhibition will include stationery and office products, school supplies, teaching and learning materials, digital stationery, hobby, craft and art materials, and paper processing machinery.

Exhibitors announced for the 2026 show include Vietnam’s Thien Long Group Corporation, Indian pen manufacturer Hamilton Writing Instruments, Dubai-based distributor GiGiS International and Ittihad Paper Mill (IPM).

Abdullah Al Khateeb, managing director of IPM, said: “The paper industry continues to demonstrate resilience, supported by regional manufacturing investment, responsible production and increasingly diversified supply chains. As a UAE manufacturer, we’re seeing strong opportunities to supply customers across the Middle East while continuing to expand into international export markets.

“Paperworld Middle East provides an important platform to connect directly with buyers, strengthen existing partnerships and showcase the quality and innovation of products manufactured in the region.”

The event will also feature interactive activities including the Artistry Workshop, with live creative sessions exploring different materials and techniques.
