Digital Printer is excited to reveal our final three panellists for DIGITAL RE-SET, our exclusive online event. Joining us on 26 November will be RMC’s Nicole Spencer, Iain Clasper-Cotte from Northern Flags and Vinehall Display’s Gerard McElhinney.

The participants, along with three other industry leaders announced last week, will share the experiences, attitudes and ideas that let them keep thriving when the world turned upside down.

We will investigate how these printers opened up new lines of business and won new customers, provide unique insight into their strategies and explore how companies can best prepare themselves for a future where what is ‘normal’ is constantly in flux. There will also be a chance for members of the audience to propose their own questions to our panel.

Nicole Spencer
Managing director, RMC

DIGITAL RE-SET: Meet the panellistsNicole Spencer is the managing director at Hull-based RMC Digital Print. She took up the role earlier this year after a successful management buyout.

Before that she spent over nine years as operations director at the company, a wide-format specialist offering a complete design, manufacture and installation service across all industries.

In 2018 Ms Spencer became the first female president of the UK Fespa Association and in that role has focused on expanding and diversifying the range of support offered to members.

Iain Clasper-Cotte
Managing director, Northern Flags

DIGITAL RE-SET: Meet the panellists

Iain Clasper-Clotte has been the managing director of Northern Flags and FaberExposize UK for the last eight years.

In that time he has overseen an unprecedented growth in turnover and number of employees, as well as a move to one of the UK’s most advanced print production facilities, helping the company into a position where it describes itself as ‘the country’s leading wide-format printer.’

Before taking up his current role, Iain spent over 20 years working within the radio and media industry, primarily in managing director and development director roles.

Gerard McElhinney
Managing director, Vinehall Displays

DIGITAL RE-SET: Meet the panellists

Gerard McElhinney has been managing director at Dublin-based Vinehall Displays for the past six years, before that serving as director of client services.

Vinehall is a family run business where Mr McElhinney works alongside his mother, father and wife.

Heavily focused on events work, the Coronavirus pandemic forced the company to ‘either shut up, let our staff all go and hope events start soon or pivot into what people needed.’ As such the company moved into producing printed, work-from-home desks and has since branched out into workout benches and other gym equipment.

Digital Re-Set will replace this year’s Digital Printer Awards, which has been cancelled because of ongoing restrictions around public gatherings. All 2020 entries will automatically be put forward into the 2021 Digital Printer Awards.
