Online print company Onlineprinters, the parent company of Southend-based Solopress, has acquired Bavarian finishing outfit, RIB.
The Onlineprinters Group employs more than 1500 people and sells more than 3000 different print related products including business cards, letterheads, flyers, catalogues, brochures and wide-format adverts to more than 30 European countries. RIB will continue to serve external customers but will now also process jobs for other companies in the group.

Peter Hemberger will be the new operative manager at RIB. He had previously run the company together with two other co-founding partners who will retire on grounds of age.
Onlineprinters is also increasing its presence in Spain, finalising the acquisition of print company Copysell and SombraCero, its large-format production affiliate. Copysell operates its own production facility south of Madrid as well as five shops in the greater Madrid area.
