Next month will see Elmbank Print celebrate its 50th anniversary. Based in the Scottish Borders, Elmbank was founded in February 1969, initially operating from a house in Peebles.

Half a century later and now owned and run by former Heidelberg northern division manager Ian McLeod, the company supplies litho, digital print and design services for businesses, clubs, societies and the general public from a printing office and stationery shop in the town centre.

Before taking over the business in 2012, Mr McLeod was involved with print machinery sales in Scotland and the north of England for more than 20 years. His career has included spells with Komori, Goss Graphic Systems and Canon.
