Durst Group will celebrate its 90th anniversary with a two-day technology festival at its headquarters in Brixen, South Tyrol, bringing together customers, partners and industry experts to discuss the future of digital production, automation and industrial printing.
Taking place on 25 and 26 June, the Durst NEXT Technology Festival will explore topics including industrial intelligence, digital print production, automated workflows, sustainability and advanced manufacturing. The event forms part of Durst’s anniversary year celebrations, marking nine decades since the company was founded in 1936.
Durst, which began in photographic imaging, has grown into a global provider of digital production and industrial printing technologies. The company says the festival is intended to create an open platform for discussion, knowledge sharing and hands-on experiences across a range of sectors, including print, manufacturing, academia, entrepreneurship and agriculture.
“Durst started 90 years ago with a clear idea: to make good things better. This idea continues to guide us today,” said Christoph Gamper, CEO and co-owner of Durst Group. “With digital production, automation and Industrial Intelligence, we are building on our heritage and looking ahead to the next chapter of industrial production. The Durst NEXT Technology Festival gives us the opportunity to open our doors, bring people together and discuss this future in Brixen.”
Rachel Brill, Durst NEXT Technology Festival Director and Founder of CHAPT3R, Inc., added: “Industrial innovation has always been shaped by the ability to connect people, ideas and technologies. Durst NEXT creates a setting where visitors can experience how automation, artificial intelligence and Industrial Intelligence are becoming part of real production environments – and how these developments can open new perspectives for industry, business and society.”
The event will begin on 25 June with the inaugural Durst NEXT Honors, an invitation-only evening recognising customer achievements and contributions from the company’s global network of partners and customers.
The public programme on 26 June will feature panel discussions, presentations and live demonstrations. Topics on the Innovation Stage will include industrial intelligence, digital twins, technical ceramics, deep tech, sustainable production and applications for demanding sectors such as aerospace.
Durst will also introduce Kyveris, its platform for Industrial Intelligence in Digital Print Production. The platform is designed to connect hardware, software, data and process knowledge to support more intelligent and efficient production environments.
Alongside the conference programme, visitors will be able to explore demonstrations covering robotics, 3D scanning, technical ceramics, wearable systems and digital production workflows.
