Konica Minolta has launched the bizhub 25e, a black and white multifunctional printer (MFP) designed as a central communication hub for small to medium sized organisations.

The new MFP is a compact A4 device for all office requirements such as copying, printing, scanning, and faxing. With full multifunctional and network capability as standard, the bizhub 25e offers a range of advantages for workflows by improving efficiency and increasing cost savings. In addition it is supported by a large 5.7 inch touchscreen display with a menu bar that can be individually adapted with clever functions.

An advantage of the new machine is its flexible paper handling and high paper holding capacity. It has a maximum paper input capacity of 2,100 sheets with up to five different paper trays meaning you spend less time refilling paper and more time focusing on your business. Furthermore, different print media such as heavyweight paper and envelopes can be stored in the system at the same time.

The MFP benefits from a smart paper output as it has an additional collection tray paired with the standard one, this could be dedicated solely to incoming faxes so that they can be separated from prints and copies. Security is also highlighted with the machine as the secure print function enables printing of confidential documents. The print job will only release once the user enters a password at the display screen of the MFP. This not only protects confidential information but helps to regulate paper output.

A duplex feeder and versatile scanning functionality enables colour scanning, as well as convenient distribution of documents via scan-to-email/SMB/FTP/USB and TWAIN-Scan, increasing efficiency and minimising both wastage and your environmental impact. ‘The new bizhub 25e is a flexible yet efficient MFP. Pairing all the essential office requirements with easy to use functionality and operation, make this device a true compact multifunctional. Something we believe there is a real need for in the marketplace,’ commented Bernard Cassidy, market development manager.
