A variety of printing products, solutions and services were revealed at CeBIT 2013, further expanding Samsung’s B2B print offering across hardware, solutions and services.

The expansion comes as part of the company’s strategy to mirror its expertise in hardware, such as semiconductor, optical, chemical and software technology, and grow into the software services and solutions sector. It plans to achieve this through product competitiveness, creating mutually beneficial business models with partners to satisfy B2B customers globally.

As part of its strategy to grow its print services portfolio, the company also announced a strategic partnership with Getronics, a global leader in the ICT service industry. The partnership brings together its service expertise and extensive customer portfolio with Samsung’s enterprise-ready printers and MFPs for the development of enterprise Managed Print Services (MPS) solutions.

It specialises in workspace management, cloud services, applications, unified communications, IT consulting, data centre and service desk. It provides these integrated services to the public sector and large enterprises in 90 countries.

‘Getronics and Samsung have found in each other the perfect match to deliver value to customers,’ said Mark Cook, chief sales officer. ‘The partnership allows us to offer a robust, agile and cost effective suite of Managed Print Services to transform our customers’ print experience: from printing equipment and supplies to the overall maintenance and management of their print fleet, allowing our customers to focus on what’s important for their own business. As both companies are global in reach, we can deliver consistency of services and benefits across even the most widely distributed enterprises.’
