GMG Americas has joined Durst’s Open Software Initiative (OSI) partner network as an authorised reseller, expanding access to its open and modular software portfolio across the Americas.
The partnership combines GMG’s expertise in colour management, print production and customer support with OSI’s software ecosystem, which is designed to connect technologies, devices and production environments from different brands.
GMG Americas will offer customers access to OSI solutions including Prepare, a browser-based platform for automated prepress and PDF preparation, and Produce, a RIP and colour management solution incorporating GMG colour technology.

Prepare is intended to extend GMG Americas’ offering into prepress automation, including file checking, correction, preparation and PDF processing. Produce combines RIP technology with colour management in an open production platform aimed at display graphics applications.

The partnership will be presented at PRINTING United Expo 2026 in Las Vegas, where the Open Software Initiative will be exhibiting at booth C934.
OSI also forms the open, vendor-neutral integration layer of Kyveris, linking the software initiative with Durst’s wider approach to industrial intelligence in digital print production.
