Komfi Delta 52 laminator
Bulwell, Nottinghamshire-based NBC Print Finishing has installed a Komfi Delta 52 thermal laminator, supplied by UK agent Friedheim International, for a quicker turnaround of jobs and to provide an enhanced service.
Now in its fifth year of operation, NBC Print Finishing offers a specialist trade service to local printers in the East Midlands. Along with an increased demand for jobs to be laminated, the company was experiencing demand from customers to have certain jobs turned around more quickly.
‘As a result, instead of contracting out all of our laminating jobs we decided to undertake some of this work in-house, thereby giving us more control of the production process,’ explained managing director Nick Champion. ‘We were recommended to have a look at the Komfi range of laminating machines, and the Delta 52 proved exactly what we were looking for in terms of the format we wanted to handle in-house.
‘Since the Komfi Delta 52 was installed it has performed exactly as we had hoped, especially in terms of its quality output and reliability, and as a result we are now able to provide a more efficient and enhanced service to our customers on certain types of laminated jobs,’ he added.
