The idea is that a returning customer can enter the website, choose their product and checkout in less than a minute

Tradeprint has unveiled its new print buying website, designed to make ordering much faster and easier than ever before.

The new site has adopted an API-first approach, integrated directly with Cimpress’ Mass Customisation Platform thus connecting Tradeprint with the manufacturing plants of the entire group, and allowing the company to offer a much wider range of products.

On the front end, customers can enjoy a user experience that makes print buying easy, fast and hassle-free. Features include simplified navigation so customers can quickly find their product, and a stripped back product configurator to make it clearer and faster to select product options. The idea is that a returning customer can enter the website, choose their product and checkout in less than a minute.

Other new aspects include a Help Centre to instantly answer customer queries, a checkout process with the functionality to store card details, and a range of white label marketing collaterals. There is also the added functionality to order sets of print, allowing customers to order multiple versions of the same item from one page and within one order.

‘We worked with our customers to design this new website, and this customer-centric approach puts their needs at the heart of everything we do. The website is just the beginning of our digital transformation; projects coming to fruition soon include closed portals and print API connections, keeping us at the forefront of print technology,’ commented Simon Cooper, managing director.
