The Birmingham Paper Trade Social Society has confirmed that its annual Charity Lunch will take place on Friday 16 October 2026 at Bank Restaurant in Brindley Place, Birmingham.
The event will begin with a drinks reception from 12pm, followed by lunch at 1pm. Tickets are priced at £85 per person and include a three-course meal. Drinks are not included and will need to be paid for directly with the restaurant on the day.
Organisers have confirmed that the guest speaker for this year’s event will be announced at a later date. Andy Thompson’s annual quiz will also return as part of the afternoon’s entertainment.
Members are welcome to invite guests, with no restrictions on guest numbers. Groups of up to 10 people will be seated together on their own tables, while smaller parties and individual attendees will be accommodated on shared tables.
Attendance is limited to 100 guests, with places allocated on a first come, first served basis. Applications should be submitted using the official booking form, together with payment by cheque or confirmation of a bank transfer.
Paul McDermott, honorary secretary of the Birmingham Paper Trade Social Society, is encouraging members to book early to avoid disappointment. Applications are now open for what has become a regular fixture in the paper and print industry’s social calendar.
