Corsham Print and Kennet Print have announced a merger that brings together two long-established Wiltshire print businesses, with the aim of expanding service capabilities for customers across the region.
As part of the merger, Neil Mortimer, formerly of Kennet Print, joins the board as a director alongside Chris Perry and David Kilmurray of Corsham Print. The combined business will continue trading from Corsham Print’s existing premises.
“This merger brings together the best of both companies,” said Chris Perry, director at Corsham Print. “By combining Corsham Print’s 45 years of experience and larger facility with Kennet Print’s specialised expertise and strong client relationships, we can offer significantly enhanced capabilities while maintaining the personal, local service both companies are known for.”
Production for the merged company will operate from a 350 square metre facility at Leafield Industrial Estate in Corsham. Services offered will include commercial print, design, packaging, and mailing. Customers will have the option of delivery or collection from the Corsham site, as well as a collection point at Hopton Industrial Estate.
The business is FSC-certified and said it remains committed to sustainable, low-energy production practices.
Neil Mortimer said the merger would strengthen the offering available to local customers while ensuring continuity. “This merger strengthens what we can offer local businesses – greater capacity, broader services, and enhanced expertise – while keeping production local and personal. We’ll continue to deliver jobs as usual, and we also have a collection point on Hopton Industrial Estate for clients who prefer to pick up their jobs.”
All existing Kennet Print customers will continue to work directly with Mr Mortimer as their primary contact, with access to the combined resources of the merged operation.
Reflecting on the merger, Mr Perry added that it marked a return to familiar ground, noting that the directors previously worked together in the 1990s at Corsham-based Addkey Print.
