Taktiful Software Solutions has announced the full public release of Taktify, an AI-powered estimating and pricing platform designed specifically for digital print embellishment.
Taktify is aimed at commercial printers looking to streamline estimating, improve margins and remove guesswork from embellishment pricing. The cloud-based platform produces cost estimates and AI-generated pricing recommendations in seconds, factoring in location, sector, materials, labour, coverage, and machine type.
“Pricing has always been one of the biggest pain points in this industry,” said Kevin Abergel, CEO and founder of Taktiful. “With Taktify, printers don’t need to guess anymore… It’s like having an AI-powered pricing strategist on your team.”
The tool is currently compatible with digital embellishment equipment from MGI, Konica Minolta, and Harris & Bruno. It supports applications such as foil, varnish, raised UV and other specialty coatings. Further support for inkjet and toner-based systems is in development.
Among the first users of the software was The Kennickell Group in Georgia, US. Having invested in MGI and Konica Minolta embellishment equipment, the company turned to Taktify to gain more pricing clarity.
“We had no idea what to charge for embellishments,” said Jana Johnson, VP of administration at Kennickell. “Once we started using Taktify, we realised we had been underpricing. The software showed us what was possible – and when we raised prices, customers didn’t push back.”
Kennickell has reported faster quoting, higher margins, and improved confidence among its sales team since adopting the platform. “Our salespeople love selling embellished prints now because they actually make money on it,” added Johnson.
