Premier Paper has launched eTec Air-R Bubble Board Black Core, a PVC-free addition to its sign and display range available in the UK and Ireland. The company said this latest development reinforces its commitment to providing high-performance, environmentally responsible solutions.

Building on the popularity of the eTec Air Bubble Board White Core, the newest addition retains the smooth, bright white virgin polypropylene surfaces on both sides, ensuring vibrant and accurate prints. The addition of a black polypropylene core, which contains up to 80% recycled content by weight, enhances the products opacity. This makes it suitable for point-of-sale displays, signage, exhibition panels, and other high-impact visual applications.

Designed for UV, latex, and screen printing, the new product is corona-treated, ensuring ink adhesion and print quality. Premier said the board is also highly versatile in production, compatible with flatbed cutting (drag knife), die cutting (hot and cold), guillotining, hot welding, folding, and even laser cutting, making it a practical choice for fabrication methods.

Its UV treatment ensures durability for long-term outdoor use, providing resistance to the elements without compromising on sustainability. Additionally, eTec Air-R Bubble Board Black Core is fully recyclable and qualifies for disposal through the Fespa Waste Management Scheme, offering an end-of-life solution for businesses looking to reduce their environmental footprint.

Premier’s display sheets and thermoplastics director for the UK and Ireland Steve Jones, stated: “The demand for sustainable materials continues to grow, and the introduction of eTec Air-R Bubble Board Black Core reflects our commitment to offering environmentally responsible solutions. With its high recycled content, improved opacity, and reliable performance, this product provides an ideal choice for businesses looking to reduce their environmental impact while maintaining the highest quality standards.”
