HP has announced the global launch of its latest Latex printers – the HP Latex 730 and 830 Series – during the ISA Sign Expo 2025 in Las Vegas. The new products increase its large-format offering for small and medium-sized print service providers.
The new models are designed to provide consistent, high-impact print quality and improved productivity, while also aligning with HP’s broader sustainability goals, said the company. Key features include HP Pixel Control – a colour pipeline that enables uniform solid colours and detailed image reproduction at lower pass modes – with an embedded spectrophotometer for easier colour profiling across different types of media.

The 730 and 830 printers also support a range of applications, including décor, branded campaigns and signage, and now offer automated double-sided printing. Andreas Griess, managing director at DCO Digitaldruck Centrum Oldenburg, said: “One of the top highlights I’m seeing with this printer is that I’m getting finer details, banding reduction and text sharpness at lower pass modes.”
Designed for efficiency, the printers feature faster print speeds, instant-dry output and a new output platen that enables tighter control over media, reducing waste. The 830 model adds three-litre ink cartridges that can be swapped without interrupting production. New universal printheads and a long-life maintenance cartridge are aimed at reducing downtime and overall costs.
Daniel Martinez, global head and general manager of HP’s large format business, said the new series delivers “unrivalled quality, enhanced production and sustainability”, with innovations such as HP Pixel Control and simplified media handling.
As part of HP’s sustainability push, the 730 and 830 Series join the Latex 630 in being EPEAT Climate+ certified – a first in the signage printing sector, claimed the company. The printers use water-based, UL Ecologo-certified inks with low emissions and odour, and are compatible with recyclable media. HP also offers a Sustainability Amplifier software tool and take-back programmes for consumables via HP planet partners.
