Full Vision has expanded its UK and European production capabilities with the installation of two EFI Vutek M3h UV LED hybrid printers at its purpose-built production facility near Stansted Airport in Essex.

The investment, supplied by CMYUK, is intended to increase production capacity, improve efficiency and support continued growth across the company’s operations.

“The EFI investment from CMYUK is all about giving our clients even greater speed, efficiency and capacity as we continue to grow,” said Sam Tanner, CEO of Full Vision. “We work in a very last-minute world, and our clients need us to say yes, when others cannot. The new EFI M3h printers give us the headroom to keep doing that as volumes increase in the UK and across Europe.”

Founded in 2016, Full Vision has grown to employ more than 60 full-time staff and has a group turnover of £16 million. The company provides event branding, large format graphics and visual solutions for exhibition organisers, venues and brands across Europe.

The new EFI Vutek M3h printers replace two EFI Vutek GS3250LX Pro UV LED hybrid printers that have been in operation at the company’s UK facility for the past decade. Rather than being retired, the existing machines will be relocated to Full Vision’s Spanish operation in Valencia, extending production capacity across both sites.

“Bringing the new M3h printers into our UK facility, and having our older printers go to Spain, the increase in our daily production capacity is going to be significant,” said Mr Tanner.

According to the company, the decision to continue investing in EFI technology followed an evaluation of alternative high-end printing equipment. Operations director Jason Holt recommended retaining the existing platform to maintain established production workflows, software compatibility and in-house expertise, while ensuring consistency between the UK and Spanish facilities.

The EFI Vutek M3h is the successor to the GS series of hybrid printers and is designed to increase productivity while maintaining print quality. The printers are capable of producing up to 40 boards per hour and include features such as continuous media loading detection and dual-roll printing, allowing different jobs to run simultaneously. Full Vision expects the additional capacity to improve responsiveness to shorter lead times and increasing demand for last-minute production.

The investment also forms part of the company’s wider sustainability strategy. Full Vision said the energy-efficient M3h platform complements existing initiatives, including solar-powered electricity generation and waste-wood heating at its Essex facility. The new printers are also expected to reduce energy consumption, consumable use, media waste and maintenance requirements through features such as instant on/off UV LED lamps and more consistent colour output.

The increased productivity is also expected to reduce overtime and limit the need for extended shift patterns as production volumes grow.

Full Vision said the investment reflects its long-standing relationship with CMYUK, which has supplied the company’s EFI technology since its early years. The company said maintaining continuity in equipment and supplier support was an important factor in its latest investment.

Looking ahead, Full Vision expects the additional capacity across its UK and Spanish operations to support further growth, enabling it to take on more complex and higher-volume projects while maintaining its focus on service, responsiveness and workflow efficiency.

“With this EFI investment, we’re not just adding firepower; we’re building the capacity, efficiency and sustainability we need to continue supporting our clients as Full Vision grows across the UK and Europe,” stated Mr Tanner.
