Printing United Alliance has expanded its Student Day programme for Printing United Expo 2026, with new career development activities, mentorship opportunities and networking sessions designed to introduce students to careers across the printing industry.
The event will take place on September 24 at the Las Vegas Convention Center and is being delivered in partnership with The Foundation for Graphic Communication Education (The FGCE), formerly the Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation. The organisation has provided scholarships to help students and educators from across the US attend the exhibition.
New additions to the 2026 programme include a career development panel discussion, interactive roundtable sessions with industry professionals and ambassador-led tours of the exhibition floor, where students will visit participating exhibitors and receive complimentary business cards to support networking.
Students will also have the opportunity to learn about internships, career pathways and new technologies affecting different areas of the print industry. Other activities include visits to attractions such as the Apparel Zone, Printing AI Pavilion and the Women in Print Alliance Luncheon, as well as access to a Student Day Lounge featuring networking opportunities, professional headshots and demonstrations of the Alliance’s iLEARNING+ platform.
Christine Cachuela, VP membership operations at Printing United Alliance, said: “Student Day has become one of the most meaningful experiences at Printing United Expo because it is where the next generation connects with the people, companies, and technologies shaping the future of print. Students gain firsthand exposure to career opportunities, build valuable industry connections, and often take their first steps toward internships and careers, while exhibitors have the opportunity to meet talented future employees.”
Charlotte Tueckmantel, director of operations at The FGCE, added: “We are excited by the opportunities this year’s Student Day agenda provides to engage directly with leaders, technology, and companies at the forefront of the printing industry. Students can expect to make valuable connections they can leverage during their educational and career journey.”
Printing United Alliance is also encouraging exhibitors to take part by hosting booth tours, demonstrations and career discussions. Canon USA, Cutworx USA, Fiery, Konica Minolta, Muller Martini and Orbus have already committed to supporting the initiative.
Student Day is free to attend, with educators and student groups encouraged to register in advance. Complimentary business cards will be available to those who register before 1 September.
