Vivid Laminating Technologies has completed a double installation of its VeloBlade Nexus cutting systems at two UK signage companies, Signs Delivered and T&E Signage.

Signs Delivered, a family-run business with three decades of experience in print advertising and vinyl signage, has upgraded its production with a VeloBlade Nexus 25×16. The company had previously invested in an overseas cutter but experienced difficulties with post-purchase support.
By moving to the VeloBlade system, Signs Delivered has added local servicing, automation and cutting accuracy to its operations. According to Vivid, the investment will support production of the company’s confidential vehicle wrapping products, while helping to reduce mechanical obsolescence and material waste.
T&E Signage, also a family-run business with more than 30 years’ experience, has completed training on a VeloBlade Nexus 2.1m by 3.3m system. The company works across display graphics, site hoardings and exhibition solutions.
After reviewing demonstrations from competing technology providers, T&E Signage selected Vivid Laminating Technologies for its build quality and support infrastructure. The business invested in the highest specification, fully loaded model to support its large-format printing capabilities.

Vivid said the two installations reflect a wider move among print and signage businesses away from unsupported hardware and towards systems with stronger servicing and long-term support.
The company added that the integrations also mark a wider milestone for the VeloBlade range, with more than 600 systems now sold worldwide over a six-year period.
Based in Leicester, Vivid Laminating Technologies supplies print finishing equipment including laminators, foiling systems and digital die-cutting machines.
