LegoDigit has expanded its HP product portfolio with the recent installation of a HP Indigo 15K B2 sheet-fed press and HP PageWide Advantage 2200 web-fed inkjet press installed in 2023.

Based in Lavis in the province of Trento, Italy, book manufacturer LegoDigit was founded in 2013 and produces books for customers across Italy.

LegoDigit has claimed to offer customers a ‘competitive edge’ in terms of productivity, efficiency and print quality due to HP’s integrated finishing solutions. The HP Indigo 15K can print on a range of media, with seven ink stations, including white inks and Pantone colours.

The versatility of the machines installed is a benefit for the company as it provides a wide range of weights from 40 gsm up to 300 gsm, on both uncoated and coated matt and glossy offset papers.

LegoDigital also notes the improved sustainability credentials of the Advantage 2200, which includes HP’s High Efficiency Drying (HED) system, which reduces energy consumption, recirculating approximately 80% of the air heated during the drying process.

Alessandro Leto, CEO of LegoDigit, stated, ‘Thanks to HP technology we have had the opportunity to grow in terms of productivity, quality, and efficiency, thus optimising the effectiveness of our company’s production processes. HP Indigo and PageWide WebPress solutions have been enabling factors in this transformation journey.’
