Some 250 exhibitors are set to participate at PulPaper 2022, as the international event for the forest industry lands in Helsinki from 7 – 9 June.

The theme of PulPaper 2022 is’ Building Tomorrow’s Bioeconomy,’ and the programme for the event includes the PulPaper Conference, the new Green Economy Business Summit and a range of different presentations as part of the Future Square Stage. Exhibitors are set to include Stora Enso, Metsä Group, UPM, and Sappi.

Particular points of focus for the PulPaper Conference will include IT and automation, the environment and sustainability, safety and risk management, new textile products, efficiency, and packaging solutions. Excursions to VTT, Bioruukki, and UPM Kymi will be arranged on 6 June and ChemBio Finland and Helsinki Chemicals Forum will be co-located at the Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre.

‘The events are very important for professionals within the trade,’ said Marcus Bergström, business manager at the host venue. ‘After a long break, we want to organise a meeting place where the visitors have the possibility to study the development within the branch, new products, and information. The forest industry event PulPaper 2022 was postponed from March to June to make networking opportunities better. We are now looking forward to the upcoming event.’
