GIS has appointed Steve Williamson as its new engineering director. Mr Williamson, who has more than 25 years of experience in RF design and manufacturing, will join the company’s executive management team.

During his career Mr Williamson has also demonstrated his skills in team leadership and project management and GIS says that his appointment ‘brings a high-level focus to the company’s future development roadmap and underlines the company’s core commitment to market-leading product design and continuous R&D.’

‘My key focus at GIS is to strengthen our dynamic development environment as we grow, allowing customers to have rapid access to products and features built on our world-leading technology,’ said the new director. ‘With extensive experience in leadership of delivering designs from concept to production, I feel I can add value to support the company’s vision.’
