Andree Bölkow is to take over as managing director of Easy Inks from 1 January 2021 as the founder of the specialist digital inks company, Lothar Diebold, steps down.

Mr Bölkow had been at 3M Deutschland sine 2000, holding a variety of posts including business unit leader Commercial Graphic Films in 2016, where he was responsible for all commercial and direct customers in the ‘DACH’ region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland).

‘High-quality inks produced in accordance with European standards are at least as important as the films on which they are printed for achieving an excellent result,’ he explained. ‘Thanks to its on-site manufacturing, with the inks produced by Easy Inks, end users are able to rely not only on formulations which adhere to environmental and occupational safety standards, but also on a stable supply chain.’

‘I will always have a special place in my heart for digital printing,’ said Mr Diebold. ‘After all, I have spent well over 20 years of my working life in this dynamic industry. Alongside my team, I have also perhaps contributed to a small degree to its success. The next few years are certain to be equally challenging. However, I believe that with Andree Bölkow at the helm, Easy Inks will have a leader who can guide the company to further growth in the future.’
