The precision cutting equipment manufacturer says each of its new innovations is designed to answer a particular request from the printing industry.
Keencut has released four new products to increase the precision and versatility of its SteelTrak and Evolution3 products.
The company has introduced the SteelTrak C2 composite cutting head in response to customers wanting to reduce the bend on cut steel and aluminium composite materials in order to ensure successful flatbed printing and minimise waste.
The Evolution3 Rocker tool head has been developed to bring ‘safe, accurate aluminium composite cutting to a benchtop cutter.’ The tool is a general-purpose cutting head that will cut aluminium composite as well as materials such as banners, cardboard and foamboard up to 10mm.
The company has also tried to answer wide-format printers’ requests for ultra-wide format cutter bars with the release of new Keencut Evolution3 options. Due to its Lift-and-Hover technology, the Evolution3 has no clamping bar sag so can now be offered in lengths up to 5.1m..
To complete the line-up of launches, Keencut has released a customised set of Keencut benches specially designed to create the optimum cutting platform for its Evolution3 SmartFold and BenchTop cutters.
Keencut chairman Paul Moxon commented on the new machines, ‘Our customers work in a tough industry, they are under pressure to achieve perfect results, time after time. They rely on Keencut products to deliver a great finish. They know that we are a design-led company, when someone throws our customers a tough challenge, they turn to Keencut to fix it. These four product releases all come from our engineers finding solutions to problems faced by our customers.’
