Screen Europe has expanded its service and support team, appointing new regional service managers.

Tony Gill will take responsibility for Screen Europe’s customer support and service in the UK and Ireland, MEA, Spain, Portugal and France. He will look after a wide range of services, from installation and training, hardware and software upgrades to preventative maintenance of Screen’s high-end inkjet systems.

Mr Gill has ‘decades of experience in printing technology.’ He joined Screen 20 years ago and previously worked as Screen’s application team leader, Europe.

Steve Low, vice president service and support at Screen Europe, commented, ‘Tony brings a unique combination of deep knowledge of our inkjet technology and excellent understanding of our customers’ requirements. He will have a crucial role in accommodating Screen’s growth, providing support and service to customers across Europe.’

Meanwhile the inkjet manufacturer has appointed Mario Offermann as service manager for its customer base in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, where its print-on-demand business has quadrupled over the past three years.

‘Screen always strives for customer service of the highest standards. The expansion of our excellent support team reflects the exponential growth Screen Europe has experienced in the German-speaking market and elsewhere in Europe in the past few years,’ Mr Low added. ‘With his excellent expertise and experience, Mario will be invaluable to our customers and us.’
