Innovia Films has extended its range of PVC-free self-adhesive BOPP films for graphic arts applications, introducing a 60 micron option that is 33% thinner than the company’s existing films.

The films can be used with UV and latex inkjet processes as well as flexographic and screen printing methods. Innovia describes them as ‘perfect for flat and simple curved graphic applications or pressure sensitive label and decal applications requiring extended outdoor usage.’

‘These BOPP films show good compatibility across a range of adhesive systems and offer clean and simple removability after use,’ said global product manager Richard Southward. ‘The printable surface offers multiple decoration options giving vibrant colours and images.  Our stand graphic at Labelexpo 2020 was produced using a HP Latex 310 press – printed and applied as a single 1.37m x 4.80m sheet. Our BOPP films as self-adhesive constructions, using thick 140gsm lay-flat release liners, have been certified as PVC-free options for wide-format HP Latex printing.’
