Solopress has celebrated producing its 2,000,000th order after almost 20 years in business, marking the occasion by giving away a £1200 tech bundle to the customer which placed the order.

That customer was Cyclepods which provides cycle parking solutions. The company found out it had won after completing a project for London Midland. ‘I didn’t order specifically to win,’ said Cyclepod marketing manager Ellie Blackman. ‘We have been using Solopress for around five years now because of its turnaround times. The tech has already been put to good use, sprucing up our work environment. It’s a great start to 2019 for Cyclepods and a sign of a great year ahead.’

Southend-based Solopress recently appointed Simon Cooper as its new managing director, almost two years after becoming a part of the Onlineprinters group. It has achieved rapid growth over the past 14 years and now delivers around 77% of jobs within 24 hours.

Aron Priest, co-founder of Solopress, said, ‘Setting up the business 20 years ago, we could never have dreamed of the levels of success we’ve had. Every year we push the boundaries further and further and our 2,000,000th order is another achievement for the company which I’m immensely proud of.’
