Esko’s annual UK Software Seminar follow up on its presence at drupa, with the intention of helping companies in packaging and sign & display markets understand the possibilities offered by the company’s solutions portfolio.

The one-day event takes place on 6 September at Loughborough University. It will review the latest launches and enhancements addressing packaging, sign & display artwork, management, design and prepress, colour management, workflow automation, project management and process integration.

These include Suite 12, a major update release for the packaging, label, sign making and display industries, focusing on adding value for the user by introducing new productivity and efficiency as well as enabling mobile collaboration and web-based management workflows. It features WebCenter 12, Automation Engine 12, Color Engine 12, Studio 12 and the flagship editors ArtiosCAD, PackEdge, ArtPro and DeskPack.

Esko’s HD Flexo high definition flexo system will be shown, while its 3D Visualizer will highlightbenefits of on-screen mock ups that can be viewed in place on simulated retail shelves and stores.

‘This popular seminar offers customers the opportunity to see and test for themselves the functionality of our software,’ said Paul Bates, Esko business manager for the UK and Eire. ‘And with our highly skilled team on hand to answer more specific questions they can  truly get to grips with the solutions thanks to a more in depth and ultimately more effective understanding.’

Partnering Esko at the event is X-Rite, which will show PantoneLIVE, the on-line materials colour profiler launched in March, while wide-format distributor Digital Print Innovations and The Quick Brown Fox will be showing the power of integrating their Aramis MIS system into an automated workflow.
