GiraffePress has met customers’ demands for more creative applications and different substrates with the installation of a Roland VersaUV LEC-540 printer/cutter.

Jason Pavlou, managing director, said, ‘We are very excited about the installation of our new LEC-540 as this incredibly versatile machine means we can meet the growing demands of our customers for ever more creative, exciting and engaging applications. Plus it means we can print onto a greater range of materials, including more environmentally friendly substrates, meaning we can avoid vinyls and inks containing solvents.’

The series can print CMYK plus white and clear inks for varnishing and embossing effects directly onto a wide range of substrates including metallic and synthetic papers, foils, BOPP, PE, PET film, plus offset printing, rotogravure stock.

It can then crease, contour kiss-cut or contour die-cut designs, all in a single pass.
