Baker Goodchild has invested in an additional Konica Minolta Bizhub Pro C6000L to meet the growing requirements and demands of its customer base.

The new machine joins the company’s expanding equipment list, in particular its cut-sheet laser printers, which already includes three Pro 906EX (5400) machines, a Xerox 6060 colour printer, and HP 4700 DN and Sharp MX machines.

The Bizhub Pro is ideal for providing quick production turnaround times and functionality capabilities for both direct mail and variable data print (VDP) applications, with print and copy speeds of up to 60 pages per minute, and up to 4,250 pages input capacity for long print runs. The Bizhub Pro is also capable of handling substrates up to 300 gsm in thickness.

Managing director, Lorraine Burnell, stated, ‘We are always looking to purchase new equipment and expand our plant list. In order to keep our client’s expectations we have to expand our range of machinery. We a in a niche market and with the traditional style of direct marketing being implemented in many organisation’s strategies we are able to handle the workflow and ensure all mailings and print is always detached on time. With many multinational organisations implementing direct mail it is a demanding market. In order to handle this demand it is essential to expand the company’s equipment to ensure the client’s expectations are always met.’
