The Grafcut 52H has maximum format of 520 mm width x 520 mm depth

Relocation prompted litho and digital commercial printer Quoin Print to invest in a Grafcut 52H guillotine.

‘We moved to a smaller site [in Oakham, Leics] in August,’ explained director Sam Smith, who decided to purchase a new machine from Terry Cooper Services rather than make expensive structural changes to the new premises.

The small foot-printed Grafcut 52 offers the choice of electric motor driven clamp and knife or full hydraulic operation to cut the company’s range of products, which includes business cards, brochures and large format posters.

‘The Grafcut is easier to set up, quicker to programme,’ noted Mr Smith. ‘As there is only three of us we tend to print at the start of the day and finish at the end. Sometimes this could back up. Now we are able to get it done quicker.’
