PPB’s Schelling saw will be relocated to the new site

Due to increased demand, PPB Ltd will be moving to a 61,000 sq/ft unit at Cross Green in the north east of Leeds.

The specifically converted warehouse has up to 4,000 pallet spaces to store PPB’s paper-based products, along with its new industrial plastics and Westland digital display portfolio. The move is planned to be completed over the Christmas period when PPB’s sheeting, re-rewinding equipment, saw and guillotine will be relocated to the new site.

There will continue to be very close stock management between PPB’s London and Leeds premises, with same day delivery available as well as an out of hours delivery service if required, with larger accounts often benefitting from 2-3 deliveries per day.

‘We are delighted to have found excellent new premises in Leeds,’ said Richard Proctor, managing director. ‘With good road links to the north and the M1 to the south it will provide us with a great base to better serve our UK customers and hold new stock especially large format sizes.

‘We have implemented a new agreement with TNT to cover smaller deliveries which will benefit customers of our new Westland Digital Media products,’ Mr Proctor added.
