The acquisition is part of a continued investment in the distribution of signage materials

Independent POS materials distributor PPB has acquired NE Plastics and will introduce customers of both businesses to new products, new services and further opportunities.

Both companies have expertise in fabrication, cutting and various other finishing processes for plastics and boards. The purchase will  give PPB the opportunity to expand plastic sales in the London area, taking group turnover to over £30 million.

Richard Proctor, director of PPB stated, ‘We are delighted to welcome NE Plastics to the PPB family. NE Plastics is a great business with a reputation for good service and honest dealings. Customers can be assured that it is business as usual, but with the ongoing security of dealing with a larger scale business that is investing in this growing sector.’

PPB is one of the biggest independent POS distributors in the UK and has been supplying print substrates to the sector for 40 years. In the last few years it has been successfully distributing thermoplastics and ACMs to the sign trade. The acquisition of NE Plastics is a continued investment in the distribution of signage materials.

‘The purchase of NE Plastics by PPB is a very strong signal for continuity and an additional reason for complete confidence in us as a supply partner,’commented Nick Warne, managing director of NE Plastics.
