EMT International has expanded its commercial leadership team with the appointment of Chris Wilhelm as director of strategic accounts and business development.
Mr Wilhelm will lead business development initiatives, strengthen the company’s OEM partnerships and support strategic sales opportunities. He will work alongside EMT’s sales, engineering and partner teams to identify new market opportunities and deliver integrated finishing solutions for print service providers.
He joins the Wisconsin-based finishing technology manufacturer following nearly a decade at Tecnau, where he was senior account manager supporting customers and partners across the printing and mailing industry.
Mr Wilhelm has more than 25 years of industry experience, including work across production print, workflow automation and customer-focused solution development.
“As our business continues to grow, strengthening our relationships with OEM partners and helping customers solve increasingly complex production challenges is more important than ever,” said Mike Herold, executive vice president of sales and marketing at EMT International. “Chris brings a tremendous amount of industry knowledge, trusted relationships and a collaborative approach that complements the team we’ve built at EMT. He will play an important role in helping us create new opportunities for our customers, our partners and our business.”
Mr Wilhelm added: “EMT has earned a reputation for engineering innovative solutions and building strong partnerships throughout the industry. I’m excited to join a talented team that is committed to helping customers succeed, and I look forward to building on that foundation as we continue growing together.”
EMT said the appointment forms part of its investment in expanding its commercial capabilities and developing partnerships intended to support more productive and automated print finishing operations.
Headquartered in Hobart, Wisconsin, EMT manufactures digital finishing technology for the printing and label industries, including inline and nearline systems through its Vira platform. It also supplies shafts, tooling and consumables for web handling, alongside installation, upgrades and ongoing support.
The company serves transactional, direct mail, commercial print, label and packaging markets worldwide.
