Quadient has supplied UK print and mail provider Send and Receive Ltd with a new integrated mail automation solution designed to increase production capacity, improve workflow efficiency and strengthen compliance.
The installation includes a Quadient DS-1200 G4iQ folder inserter, Impress software, the Automated Insertion Management System (AIMS) and inline envelope printing. The deployment builds on a relationship spanning more than 15 years between the two companies.
Milton Keynes-based Send and Receive, which provides print, mailing, postage and digital delivery services, invested in the new system to support growing demand and overcome limitations with its previous production setup.
According to the company, its existing infrastructure had reached maximum capacity, restricting growth and making it more difficult to onboard new clients. Separate envelope printing and mail insertion processes also created workflow inefficiencies.
The new Quadient system combines these processes into a single production workflow, with inline envelope printing reducing manual handling and removing the need for standalone systems. The integrated platform also enables full closed-loop verification to help ensure document accuracy, support GDPR compliance and improve production throughput.
“As our business has grown, it became clear that our existing infrastructure was holding us back,” said Liam Crane, director at Send and Receive. “With Quadient’s integrated solution, we have moved to a scalable, efficient production environment. We can now take on new clients with confidence, while maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.”
Quadient said the installation has been designed to support the company’s future expansion, with further enhancements already planned.
“Print service providers need to scale efficiently while maintaining control and accuracy,” said Phil Hutchison, senior VP MRS, UK & Ireland, Quadient. “By combining high-performance hardware with intelligent automation, we help customers modernise production and support sustainable growth.”
Quadient said the deployment reflects its continued focus on helping print service providers modernise production operations, improve efficiency and meet evolving customer and regulatory requirements.
