Blooming Color has installed an HP Indigo 18K Digital Press at its Louisville, Kentucky facility, marking its 12th investment in HP Indigo technology and expanding its digital print production capacity.
The installation follows the company’s recent expansion into Louisville and brings the number of HP Indigo presses currently in operation across Blooming Color’s production facilities to eight. The company said the latest investment is intended to support continued growth through increased production capacity, faster turnaround times and greater application flexibility.
According to Blooming Color, the HP Indigo 18K offers enhanced digital print performance and supports a wider range of print applications, helping the company deliver high-quality output while meeting evolving customer requirements.
Brian Scott, CEO of Blooming Color, said: “This investment is a message to our partners, our team, and the industry: Blooming Color is just getting started. The addition of the HP Indigo 18K in Louisville is a direct reflection of our commitment to growth, innovation, and delivering uncompromising quality. We are building the future of print with intention, and we are investing in the technology that allows our partners’ brands to compete, scale, and stand out globally.”
The investment also strengthens the company’s long-standing relationship with HP, with a total of 12 HP Indigo presses having formed part of Blooming Color’s production history.
Fernando Alperowitch, general manager, North America HP Graphics Solutions Business GTM, said: “Blooming Color’s continued investment in HP Indigo technology is a testament to their vision, ambition, and unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional value to their customers. By investing in the HP Indigo 18K, they are equipping their business with the flexibility, productivity, and print quality needed to meet changing customer demands while positioning themselves for long-term growth. We look forward to continuing our collaboration and helping enable the next phase of Blooming Color’s success.”
Blooming Color said the latest installation forms part of its wider strategy of investing in technology, infrastructure and its workforce as it continues to expand its production capabilities and support customers with increased capacity and faster speed to market.
