Solimar Systems has expanded the standard licence for its SOLitrack workflow platform to include three previously separate capabilities: Proof and Approval, Duplicate File Checking, and Batching.

The change applies immediately to all new and existing SOLitrack customers and forms part of the company’s latest update to the platform. Solimar said the move reflects a shift in how it packages the software, with functions widely used for quality control, operational efficiency and cost reduction now included as standard rather than offered as add-ons.

Mary Ann Rowan, CXO at Solimar Systems, said: “We continually strengthen our products to provide more visibility, security, and time and cost savings. Our goal is to empower our customers to improve their operations by providing off-the-shelf, configurable, modular solutions that automate processes and integrate islands of technology.”

The Proof and Approval feature enables configurable approval workflows that can route jobs to designated reviewers at different stages of production. The system supports individual or group approvals, synchronous or asynchronous sign-off, automated approval timers, notifications and audit logging. Piece-level approval functionality allows individual mailpieces within a job to be approved, paused or suppressed.

Duplicate File Checking is designed to identify files that have already been processed, providing warnings to operators and allowing overrides with documented reasons where necessary. The feature also includes alert notifications and can be configured to bypass checks in workflows where duplicate files are expected, such as Piece Level Tracking reprints.

The Batching capability allows indexed PDF jobs to be grouped and processed as a single SOLitrack job. Batches can be created manually or automatically according to predefined schedules, with controls for impression, sheet and mailpiece limits. The feature also integrates with SOLfusion and Rubika software to support postal commingling and discount optimisation.

The licensing changes coincide with the release of SOLitrack 2.6 R5, which introduces additional enhancements including Bulk Release for time-window-based job grouping, piece-level data export to CSV files, attached reports in alert emails, and tuning options for IPP devices and device status polling.

Drew Sprague, president of Solimar Systems, said: “SOLitrack continues to evolve in step with what our customers need. Expanding the base license, combined with the ongoing 2.6 enhancements, gives our clients more capability, more automation, and more control – with greater operational visibility.”

The latest release builds on the wider SOLitrack 2.6 update introduced in November 2025, which added features including piece-level reprint automation, scheduled reporting and USPS SingleSource ACS support.
