Friedheim International has announced the launch of a new high-speed paper folding machine range, expanding its post-press portfolio for commercial print and finishing applications.
Developed in collaboration with Chinese manufacturer AOQI, the new range is aimed at modern print environments seeking higher productivity, operational efficiency and consistent output quality. AOQI is known for precision-engineered equipment, and Friedheim said the partnership combines that engineering with user-friendly operation and local sales and service support.
The machines are designed to handle paper sizes from 70mm to 1150mm and offer speeds of up to 220m/min, depending on the model. The range includes several optional features, including a labelling machine, hot melt gluing unit, vertical stacker, pressing unit, parallel knife and cross fold machine, allowing the systems to be configured for a variety of production requirements.
Friedheim said the machines are intended to support print businesses looking to increase throughput without compromising quality, while also offering a competitive investment level and shorter lead times compared with some premium alternatives.
The company is offering the new folding systems exclusively through its sales and service network, with installation, operator training and after-sales support included. A demonstration site has also been established where the equipment is operating in a live production environment.
The launch marks a further expansion of Friedheim’s post-press offering and reflects broader demand in the print sector for automation and productivity-focused finishing solutions. The company said the new range is designed to give customers access to high-performance folding technology while maintaining flexibility and ease of use.
