EMT International and Standard Finishing Systems have announced a strategic partnership to develop integrated finishing solutions for digital print providers, building on an existing collaboration between the two companies.
The partnership follows joint work integrating EMT’s roll-fed cutting technology with Horizon folding systems, creating automated finishing lines for the production of direct mail applications. The combined solution has been demonstrated at several industry events over the past year, with multiple integrated systems now installed at customer sites.
According to the companies, the initial installations have helped reduce manual handling by creating more automated production workflows, while improving efficiency. The partnership will now focus on developing additional integrated finishing solutions for digital print applications by combining complementary technologies.
