The Strategic Mailing Partnership (SMP) has unveiled the shortlist for its 2025 Mail Performance, Sustainable Campaign, and Bright Futures Awards. The event will take place at the organisation’s annual Networking and Awards Evening on 25 September at The Steel Yard, London.
The event, hosted this year by comedian and writer Hal Cruttenden, will bring together print producers, managers, and agencies to celebrate standout campaigns and emerging talent across the UK mailing industry.
Lucy Swanston, chair of the SMP, said: “The evening promises a unique opportunity to celebrate the very best in the industry, strengthen professional connections, and enjoy an atmosphere of recognition and inspiration.” She added that attendance is free for industry professionals and encouraged businesses to reserve places for their teams.
The Mail Performance Award recognises campaigns that have achieved strong results through innovation in areas such as pack design, data targeting, and postage optimisation. Shortlisted entrants include Black Bear Creative, Formara, Go Inspire Group, Join the Dots, Latcham, Nutshell Creative, Paragon, Precision Proco, PSE Agency, The Dragonfly Agency, Webmart, and Whistl.
Launched in 2023, the Bright Futures Award celebrates professionals under 30 who show exceptional potential. The winner will receive a professional development opportunity from the DMA. This year’s shortlist features Anya Mawdsley (Paragon), Claire Behan (Canon UK), Hannah Murphy (PSE Agency), Isobel Arnold (Paragon), Will Bartholomew (Go Inspire Group), and Paige Ellis-Gibson (Greens the Signmakers).
Also introduced last year, the Sustainable Campaign Award highlights projects that deliver measurable improvements in environmental and social sustainability. The 2025 shortlist features Join the Dots and Webmart.
Headline sponsor for the event is Whistl, supported by organisations including UK Mail, Marketreach, Address Intelligence, BBS, Blake Envelopes and Packaging, BOWE Group, Canon, ISCorp, JICMail, Konica Minolta, Premier Paper Group, Print ePS, and The Software Bureau.
“With this year’s SMP Annual Networking and Awards Evening fast approaching, I’m excited and looking forward to the chance it offers to engage with leading figures across our sector,” Ms Swanston said. “It’s an occasion that not only recognises exceptional accomplishments, but also fosters collaboration, fresh thinking, and the exchange of ideas.”
