Leeds-based Digital Plus has become the first company in the UK to install the limited-edition Agfa Anapurna Ciervo H3200. The investment was finalised at Fespa 2025 in Berlin.
The wide-format hybrid printer, part of a special edition created to mark 20 years of Agfa’s Anapurna range, features a distinctive custom design by Belgian street artist DZIA. Designed for high-quality, versatile output, the Ciervo H3200 offers a 3.2m print width, six-colour plus white ink set, UV LED curing, and Agfa’s Thin Ink Layer technology for reduced ink consumption.
Owen Russell, managing director at Digital Plus, visited Fespa to see the machine in operation before committing to the investment. “The Anapurna Ciervo offers us a performance upgrade in terms of speed, productivity and its reduction in energy use being LED-curing based,” he said. “It’s replacing one of our old machines and the service and support from Agfa has been excellent.”
The new printer is intended to bolster Digital Plus’s output across a range of sectors including retail, education, architecture, and exhibitions. “We need agility and versatility to respond to our customers’ needs and the Ciervo machine delivers on that front for us,” added Russell.
The Anapurna Ciervo is available in three width models – H2050, H2500 and H3200 – and supports simultaneous multi-board printing, borderless printing, and efficient board feeding. Its Greenguard Gold-certified inks offer a wide colour gamut and allow for complex white ink applications in a single pass.
