Nazdar Ink Technologies has launched the 775 series, a new line of UV-LED inkjet inks formulated for general applications using Kyocera printheads.

Designed for use with heated medium viscosity printheads, the 775 series is optimised to cure under lower energy UV and LED lamps. This allows printers to reduce energy consumption and operational costs, while also supporting more sustainable print production methods.

Stephen Woodall, market segment manager for after-market inkjet inks at Nazdar, said: “The 775 series inks further enhance Nazdar’s plug-and-play selection, offering UV-LED inkjet ink users worldwide continued high-quality, consistency, and savings. Overall, these inks offer a combination of performance, user-friendliness, and energy efficiency, making them a versatile choice for a wide range of graphic printing needs.”

Compatible with devices such as the Vanguard VK300 and VKR3200, as well as other presses equipped with Kyocera KJ4A heads, the 775 series supports print speeds up to 1.6m/min. The low-odour inks are curable via UV (mercury and iron-doped bulbs) and LED sources, and offer a market-acceptable idle time before cleaning is required.

Target substrates for the inks include reinforced and flexible vinyl, pressure-sensitive and clear or white PET films, polystyrene, polycarbonate, window cling, backlit media, and foamboard, said the company.
