HP has announced a major expansion of its long-standing partnership with mass customisation provider, Cimpress. The agreement is to install between 10 and 20 new HP Indigo digital presses across North America, Europe and Australia during 2025 and 2026.

The deal, which follows an announcement made at drupa 2024, will see Cimpress adopt HP Indigo 120K and 18K models in a global rollout. The goal is to boost productivity and efficiency while maintaining high print quality.

Cimpress says the addition of the new machines will help accelerate output and reduce operational costs. The HP Indigo 120K is designed to deliver high-volume, automated production with minimal manual intervention, while the 18K offers a wider colour gamut and greater substrate flexibility.

Robert Keane, Cimpress founder, chairman and CEO, said: “Cimpress’ commitment to delivering market-leading customer value drives us to remain at the forefront of print technology. Our decision to install these HP Indigo presses —following our discussions at drupa in 2024—reflects our confidence in HP’s cutting-edge technology and its ability to enhance our efficiency and expand our product and service offerings.”

Cimpress signs huge deal with HPThe installation is part of a broader strategy by Cimpress to scale its digital production infrastructure. HP noted that the presses would integrate with its PrintOS suite, to help Cimpress meet high standards for operational excellence and print quality.

Haim Levit, senior vice president and division president at HP, commented: “In a market where speed, flexibility, and exceptional quality are driving customer demands, we are delighted to partner with Cimpress as they install the HP Indigo 120K presses to deliver nonstop digital printing. By investing in cutting-edge digital print technology, they are positioning themselves for scalability, profitability, and long-term success.”
