Canon has announced the launch of two new A3 multifunction device lines, the ImageForce C5100 and 6100. The new printers have been developed to enhance business workflows through high performance, security, and sustainability features.

The new models, built on Canon’s ImageForce platform and underpinned by machine learning, offer high-volume colour (C5100) and black and white (6100) printing with print resolutions of up to 4800dpi, enabled by Canon’s proprietary OLED exposure technology. These improvements are aimed at delivering richer documents with smoother tones and sharper text, suitable for a wide range of business applications.

Designed for modern workspaces, the devices integrate smart sensors to support predictive maintenance, thereby reducing downtime. They also incorporate Canon’s Security Environment Estimation Technology (SEET). The SEET system analyses IT environments and recommends security settings, helping organisations without in-house IT teams to protect sensitive data across networks and devices.

Khalid Aziz, marketing director, digital printing and solutions at Canon UK and Ireland, commented: “Our new ImageForce devices offer our customers the highest levels of innovation in our multifunction range. These flagship A3 colour and black and white models will equip businesses with pioneering technology to meet all office printing needs and are an ideal choice for organisations wishing to streamline document workflows and boost productivity.”

The new devices also reflect Canon’s ongoing commitment to sustainability. They include 30% recycled plastics in their build and consume less energy than previous models, with features that help users track and manage environmental performance.

With an updated interface and improved cloud connectivity, the ImageForce C5100 and 6100 can be seamlessly integrated into existing business systems, providing an intuitive user experience and supporting digital transformation initiatives.

The launch aligns with Canon’s broader goal of helping organisations future-proof their operations with secure, efficient, and sustainable technologies, said the company.
